Wax carving ring workshops - £150 *coming soon*
Create your very own unique sterling silver ring from scratch and take it home on the same day in this truly one of a kind jewellery making experience!
You don't have to have had any experience with jewellery making before and you will be guided through every step of the process. This will be a fun and exciting session with demonstrations and one to one support when needed. No waiting weeks for your ring to come back in the post, you will watch your very own design being cast in molten sterling silver right before your eyes and take home a beautifully finished and polished ring on the day!
Price is £150 per person
During the 3 hours you will:
- Design and sketch your ring idea
- Learn how to carve your design in jewellers wax
- Create your Delft clay mould from your wax carving
- Watch your design being cast in molten sterling silver in our courtyard
- Learn how to finish, file and polish your ring to a beautiful shine
- Take home your finished sterling silver ring in a gift box
Dates, time and location
Please contact me to arrange a date or time that suites you. The workshop is located in my studio at my home for small groups or the function room at my pub The Round Georges, Brighton. If you wish to have the workshop at your location this too can be arranged. Please note both locations have stairs to access workspace.
